7 Wonderful Things To Do For The 4-6 Month Baby Development Stage

The 4-6 month baby development stage is a great time to start stimulating your child.

For me the most important thing is that you've decided to start now... before it's too late. It's definitely the best time to start introducing small bits and pieces of the right stimulation.

I always find it strange that parents think they must use some gadget to stimulate or encourage their child's development. That's not really necessary.

Here are a few simple, easy things you can do without spending lots of money on fancy gadgets and baby toys.

All of these things aim to stimulate and encourage the basic skills your baby needs now.

You may not necessarily want to do all of them. But try those that you like and see what works for you.

Baby Wonder #1 - Try to stimulate your child's natural curiosity by giving toys and objects to hold and examine. Often they'll stick it in their mouths. Don't despair... it's all part of the examination process.

Baby Wonder #2 - Give her brightly colored rattles or teethers… to hold, feel and chew on. At this age your baby chews on almost anything.

Baby Wonder #3 - A few free things you can try with great success are cups, small pots and spoons. These are cheap objects to teach the real basics skills your child needs now.

Baby Wonder #4 - Try to get baby toys and play things with music and other sounds. If that's not possible... you can even fit bells to your baby's booties.

Baby Wonder #5 - Give her a colorful ball. It's great to encourage many skills at the same time.

Baby Wonder #6 - Why not make bath time a lot of fun? I strongly advise getting bath toys... even if only to ensure your baby's having a spattering fun time.

Baby Wonder #7 - And if you really want to encourage your baby to move around... sit her on an activity mat with bold, colorful pictures.

This represents the basic baby educational toys any parent can get their infant in the 4-6 month baby development stage.

You may also want to look at other baby toys for more ideas. but the tips mentioned here are easy to do, cheap and encourages development of the basic skills needed for the 4-6 month baby development stage.
